The fall out from the bail outs and other financial crashes has now been magnified in the literal bail out and crash one Marcus Schrenker. Proof once more than one doesn't have to be smart to make money, the apparent Shrenker caper makes little to no sense at all.

Schrenker, was a high-flying Indiana businessman, appeared to have it all ' money, luxury cars, airplanes ' before he became the center of a heated manhunt. Who would call in a distress signal that their cockpit window had blown out, set the plane on automatic pilot, and parachute out, caring less about there the plane would eventually crash, nor how many people it might kill. Who does such things?

Then hitch a ride to a hotel in a police car? Who does such things?

Authorities learned that 38-year-old Marcus Schrenker stored a Yamaha motorcycle in Harpersville, Ala., on Saturday before he vanished. He told the manager of the storage unit that he'd be back on Monday to pick it up.

When U.S. Marshals went Monday evening to search the storage unit, the bike was gone. All that was found in the storage space were the wet clothes Schrenker was last seen wearing when he checked into ' and left ' a motel in Harpersville, according to the station.

Then he sends an email saying he's going to commit suicide. Why all the trouble if suicide was the goal?

Schrenker lived a lavish life as an investment manager and an experienced pilot who performed aerial stunts. He bought luxury automobiles, two airplanes and a $4 million house in an upscale neighborhood known as "Cocktail Cove," where affluent boaters often socialize with cocktails in hand.

But in reality, Schrenker's life appeared to be spiraling downward. He lost a half-million-dollar judgment against one of his companies, and his wife filed for divorce. Investigators probed his businesses for possible securities violations.

Another high-flying financial genius turns out to be not so smart after all.

PS. This morning he was found at a campground with one wrist slit, but alive and he is now in custody.
